The short answerCigna pays 97802 and 97803 as preventive when the diagnosis is a wellness code from its Code Group 1, which includes Z71.3, or a maternity code for a pregnant member; with an illness diagnosis the visit goes to the medical benefit. G0270 and G0271 are not on its preventive list. On video, Cigna asks for POS 02 with modifier 95, GT or GQ, not POS 10.
