Illinois Medicaid MNT coverage: codes and who can bill

The short answerIllinois Medicaid doesn't pay dietitians for MNT directly. On the HFS practitioner fee schedule effective July 1, 2026, 97802, 97803, G0270 and G0271 carry indicator 09, Qualified Medicare Beneficiary coverage only, and we found no dietitian provider type.
